Are you thinking of a Chalet Wedding in the Alps? Today I’m sharing one of my favourite Chalet Weddings in the Austrian Alps, at the Rossl Alm in Gerlos, in the heart of the Tyrol region.
July 2019 took me to the striking alpine town of Gerlos for Emma & Adam’s intimate wedding in Austria. After starting to work with the couple a little over a year prior to the celebration, we hit it off straight away and this was a joy to work on.
From their home in Michigan, Emma & Adam felt a magnetic pull towards the mountains. After exploring various locations, we fell for the raw, rugged beauty of the Roessl Alm, nestled at an altitude of 1,600m in the town of Gerlos.
The couple legally married surrounded by loved ones, with a stunning, dramatic backdrop.
I believes that wandering establishes harmony, provides fulfilment and is the surest way to open your heart and cleanse your spirit. With this in mind, the adventure continued at a nearby reservoir where they shared personal vows…
…and enjoyed their first stroll as husband and wife.
A traditionally cooked Austrian wedding dinner finished off the day in style.
