I’m excited to be sharing a loved filled magical Wedding with you today between two childhood sweethearts in Nottingham. I had the pleasure of working with the lovely Georgie & Craig in July 2017 on their military Wedding which had so many fun and quirky elements making it completely personal and totally romantic!

Georgie prepared for the big day at her parents home surrounded by her closest family and loved ones. With hair styling and make-up by the talented Adele Coxon, Georgie’s bridal party enjoyed a relaxing and exciting morning together!

Craig and his Groomsmen eagerly prepared and dressed smartly in uniform at Chetwynd Barracks, also the Reception location.

Georgie & her bridal party travelled via a romantic horse & carriage by The Ostler to the beautiful St Mary’s Church in Attenborough, close to Georgie’s family home and Craig’s barracks.

Once at St Mary’s Church and with buttonholes and bouquets in position from Botanic Blooms the religious ceremony began with the Church full of Georgie and Craig’s loved ones.

With the marriage official and huge smiles on everyones faces, the celebrations could begin!

Georgie & Craig took some time to have photographs in the nearby nature reserve whilst guests travelled to the barracks for refreshments served by the in-house team.

Back at the barracks, Georgie had carefully thought of so many personal touches to ensure their day was both unique and romantic. With a hand created table plan, sequinned table runners and trees illuminated with light the Officer’s Mess was transformed into a sparkling elegant dinner hall.

Stood proudly in the foyer was a 3 tiered cake lovingly made by Georgie’s Mum. Decorated with flowers by Botanic Blooms the cake really came alive and was a focal point in the Officers Mess.

A delicious three course meal was prepared and served by the barracks in-house chefs and barracks event team who did a fantastic job organising all catering and refreshment elements. Speeches and toasts followed with background music provided by the exceptionally talented Ellie Sax.

With dinner cleared, the evening party began! Live music continued from Ellie Sax & Richard Muir Acousticsand his band. Both were incredible at getting guests up on their feet and dancing away!

A photo booth and bucking rugby ball also provided guests with entertainment as fresh pizzas were served outside.

This Wedding was one of the most enjoyable I’ve had the pleasure of working on and with a fantastic team of suppliers too. Georgie & Craig were so much fun & did all they could to make their day personal and memorable for themselves and their guests.
The fabulous imagery I’ve shared today is from Buckinghamshire Wedding Photographer, Louise at Beaulieu Photography”
